Smilin’ D Arena was built on our passion for the ranching lifestyle and our desire to create the ultimate venue in Central Minnesota for Western events. From ranch sorting to barrel racing, Smilin’ D’s is a space where memories are made for competitors and fans alike.

Smilin’ D Arena & Events is owned and operated by the Reigstad Family. For over a decade, Dave and Jessie Reigstad, along with their children, spouses, and grandchildren, have envisioned this space coming to life. From the custom mural of their son Isaac to the must-have brick fireplace, every decision made in building this arena centered around one thing: family.

Our family has deep roots in the horse community, and creating Smilin’ D Arena has always been our dream. We wanted a place where riders, fans, and families could gather to celebrate the best the sport has to offer. With every event, we aim to share the joy and excitement of the cowboy way of life with everyone who steps through our gates.

ARENA

In the Spring of 2024, we set out to create the best arena and event space the area has to offer. The end result was a state-of-the-art, climate-controlled arena designed for top-tier performance and comfort. With a maximum capacity of 300, we offer plenty of space for riders to show off their skills and fans to take in the magic.
